Road to 1.0.0
We just reached update 0.3.0. The main feature for this version is music and a setting menu allowing you to tweak some stuff.
After taking a look into my backlog to define new milestones I noticed that I nearly reached everything I wanted to add. The only things left are
Features
- An in game tutorial
- Ai opponents
- At least one additional built in deck
Quality of Life
- Allow closing a round by pressing the main action (The one used to flip a card)
Next Steps
I will properly define another Milestone before the 1.0.0 release, the goal is to include the ai if I can figure out how to do this, the additional deck and the Quality of Life feature.
The only last thing to add for version 1.0.0 will be the tutorial because I don’t know how to approach this. Maybe I do come up with a good idea while working on the other features.
Own Thoughts
It feels good to be that close to finish a game which is somewhat polished. It’s the first time I’m proud of creating this and it’s my first project which is playable and not that rough around the edges.
I do hope you tried it and had some fun, maybe create a custom deck and checkout that feature.
